We produce two newsletters per term detailing current/planned events for the term, giving updates, topical issues and highlighting long term plans. Parents are welcome to add pieces to the letter, place adverts etc. Please email us if you’d like something included. For adverts and placements contact the office

 Good Friday: To commemorate the day Jesus paid for our sins

Easter Sunday: To celebrate the day when Jesus conquered the power of death

 Labour Day 01-May: Workers’ holiday

Mother’s Day: A day for honouring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society.

June

 Madaraka Day 01-Jun: Commemorates the day that Kenya attained internal self-rule in 1963, preceding full independence from the United Kingdom on 12 December 1963.

 

Father’s Day3rdSunday– A day for honouring fathers and celebrating responsible fatherhood, paternal bonds and the influence of fathers in society.

July

Parent’s Day (American) 4th Sunday: A day for recognizing, uplifting and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.

October

Mashujaa Day 20-Oct: A day to honour our heroes/heroines who with increased devotion have contributed to the betterment of our lives. We in particular honour those who paid a costly price to liberate our nation from colonial shackles.

November

Children’s Day 20-Nov: A day to celebrate childhood and promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of children.

December

Christmas Day 25-Dec: To celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and thank God for His love for mankind by being Emmanuel – God with us.
